GNO Poster double exposure by Csyeung
GNO Poster double exposure
Goofing around with some old artwork and did a double exposure image. Images are from GNO series that I did with Amy Chu and Juri Hayasaka. Double exposure is a technique used in film and television such as the opening of True Detective which I was inspired from and I wanted to see how well it would work with some of my drawings.

The Precious Scroll of Incense Mountain by Csyeung
The Precious Scroll of Incense Mountain
I recently had an opportunity to work  on a book called The Precious Scroll of Incense Mountain which is a retelling of the story of Princess Miaoshan and how she became Guanyin for the Baltimore Museum of Art. The story was adapted by the brilliant Amy Chu and colored by the amazing Laura Martin. It was a blast to work with but due to short time and the other projects I was working on, I decided to do everything digitally to cut down the production time while attempting to keep the quality up which I hope I've managed to do here. Unfortunately the book can only be purchased from the museum gift shop ( Here is a direct link:… ). I may have a limited number for shows as I ordered a few directly from them. I am not sure if they will have a digital version for sale, but I will post that as I know more. I also plan to be in Baltimore at the end of the month to do some signings with Amy Chu on the weekend of the 27th.
I'll be at Fanexpo next weekend in Toronto.

If you are attending, come by and say hi! I'll be in Artist Alley P 7A

See you there!

I managed to stumble upon your Sekhmet piece, and I was amazed by it I decided to go through your gallery. I was pretty much blocked away that I had to watch you. :)

Your work is amazing, simply mind-blowing in my eyes. I was stooping around D.Art when I stumbled upon your work. You now have a faithful watcher named "Amy". :/ Haha.

Ehem, that said... you're name looks familiar. Did you work on any Nerd Corps productions?

Thanks! Appreciate your watch =D. I think I did some stuff with my friend Jim Sui a while back. I also do work for many Marvel titles so you may have seen my name there before too.

It's kinda funny - I've just gave u your 100th llama...
Just was coming by and wanted to point at your amazing talent in using different drawing mediums. You are professional and have kinda 1000 watchers so i don't think I say something original - but you make every piece here stylish - with it's own personal touch and depth. So You are not just "art machine" but real and truly talented artist. I really enjoyed ur fantastic gallery and hope u'r doing fine. Also - thx for taking ur time to read to this point, have a nice day)
